# SNOMED CT Logical Profile Specification

This guide defines the description logic (DL) feature set used to represent and interpret SNOMED CT content. It specifies the constructs valid for the SNOMED CT International release, ensuring consistent and accurate meaning of concepts while clarifying the boundaries of DL use within SNOMED CT. Intended for National Release Centers, terminology developers, implementers, and system analysts, the guide provides a reference point for understanding how SNOMED CT leverages DL, while leaving representation, distribution, and translation aspects out of scope.
