* With *semantic interoperability* , each system should be able to interpret and effectively use received information.\_\_ To achieve this, the meaning of the information must be agreed upon, consistent, and clear.
* *Semantic interoperability* of electronic health applications \_\_ is achieved through the combination of the information architecture of the application and its terminology.
* SNOMED CT is a clinical terminological designed to support for *semantic interoperability* between well-designed electronic health records, clinical decision support and data analytics systems.
